Diva, which specialises in car insurance for women, surveyed 1,200 customers online and found that women are hoarding expens women's jackets ive and unnecessary items in their cars with some women putting as much as ?500 worth of belongings at risk.
The survey revealed the most popular item for a woman to store in their portable wardrobe are Ugg Boots, which according to the women surveyed were necessary for driving purposes. However at ?160.00 a pair, they are an attractive prospect for any thief.
According to Diva, the most popular items women keep in their cars are:

Hannah Toubkin, Marketing Manager of Diva Insurance.co.uk, said, "In preparing for any clothing occasion and adapting to any fashion emergency, women have found a new use for their cars, which is putting them at an increased risk from thieves".
She added, "Loose items can also pose a real danger whilst driving as they can easily become lodged under the. It is vital that these items are stored safely."
